The latch bolt is operated by a thumb piece on the exterior handleset and knob/lever on the interior (depending on which interior pack you select during checkout) . The Double Cylinder Deadbolt is operated by a key from the exterior and also a key from the interior. The Double Cylinder deadbolt is also a SmartKey Deadbolt.
